Little Conch Reef is a very shallow reef spreading out for almost a mile across a flat white sandy bed. Just outside the protected area it has become one of the prime reefs for fishers catching spiny lobsters all year around. Remember that there is a maximum of six pieces per person and don't think that stealing parts of coral is allowed as well.
Little Conch Reef is not as popular as its northern neighbour Conch Reef but this dive site is definitely as beautiful. Its quietness will provide sights of some of the more uncommon underwater species such as nurse sharks and huge loggerhead turtles. Spanish Galleons wrecked in 1733 such as the El Infante are located nearby and are well worth a second or third dive.
