At only ten miles southeast of Pensacola Pass sits a tugboat named Born Again fully upright on the ocean floor. She is a 65 foot long tug that was sunk as an artificial reef in February 1991. She is in good condition and has a forty feet high tower that projects to within sixty feet from the surface. A hole inside the wreck is filled with more than twenty 18ft long stanchion pipes creating an area which often houses many lobsters and crabs. Pay attention to nets, fishing lines and spear fishers as this dive site is also one of the prime destinations for fishermen. Horse-eye jacks, triggerfish, snappers and jewfish are common residents patrolling around the wreck. Game fish such as the extremely fast fish wahoo, dolphin mahi-mahi and blackfin tuna can also be spotted here when lucky.
