A dive site named 100-Foot Barge, located at the outer edge of the third reef line a few miles east of Palm Beach Shores, is one of the older wrecks in the area. She is a seventy feet long barge with a beam of twenty feet. There are several places where you can enter this wreck but be careful of silt, narrow places and disorientation. Its metal railings, hull and ceilings are covered in the best examples of sponges, soft and hard corals. There even are sections where black coral can be seen, which is not very common in this northern part of Palm Beach. In a few words; a colourful photographers paradise with many wide-angle and macro opportunities.
