Diving at dive site Conch Wall is said to be one of the best mini walls available in the Keys, sloping down well over 100 feet. Its location is found diving several 100 yards southeast of a large red mooring buoy numbered #12. Whips, purple sea fans and large marine life such as jacks, groupers and permits inhabit and cruise around this vertical drop-off. The many slow growing barrel sponges that cover the wall are quite a remarkable sight and huge specimens of 6 foot tall have taken more than 100 year to grow. During huge currents the wall is sometimes used to drift along as well.
