Inshore from the lighthouse is a huge coral limestone formation which is named the Arch. This natural coral bridge is large enough to swim through and is covered with gorgonians and several types of hard and soft coral. The area north of the lighthouse is shallow and perfect for snorkellers with brain, sheet, lettuce and finger coral. Many colourful fish such as cowfish, blue parrotfish, squirrelfish, snappers but also huge coloured anemones and pieces of elkhorn coral are quite familiar here.

Divers enjoy this area for its high chances of seeing rituals between cleaner fish and parasite carriers. The many large fish need to get rid of their parasites while the smaller fish need the parasites as their main source of food. Here they have found each other in their drift of survival with many cleaning stations as a result.
