This beautiful dive at Paul's Reef along ten foot high ledges is one of the best drift dives around the Palm Beach area. This one mile long reef is located near the town of Lake Worth at only four miles south of Breakers Reef. Its central part named Paul's Cut is a small interesting irregularity in the reef changing the direction of the reef from north to south in west-east. This part especially is known because of its brilliant coral and huge numbers of fish.

Marine life is vivid and abundant along the reef. Species such as sand dollars, helmet shells, conch, and sting rays can be found in the sand. While the reef is coloured with sea fans, ball anemones, barrel sponges, elephant ear sponges and gorgonians. Marine species you can expect to see are parrotfish, octopus, eels and occasional guitar sharks.
