Double Ledges consists out of a twin reef running north south, both full of large coral formations and swept clean by the Gulf Stream current. One of the ledges rises five feet from 85 feet deep while the other is about eight feet high coming from 65 feet. Both of them have many holes, cracks and overhangs for smaller creatures and marine fish to live in. Encounters of pork fish, snappers and many types of angelfish are considered to be normal while participating in one of the best drift dives. The end of the reef looks like a large circular bowl full of juvenile tropical fish and coloured corals. If you are lucky you will meet a diver friendly turtle named Madeleine.
