The Orange is an eighty foot long steel hulled tugboat build in 1903 which was primarily used as a workboat pushing railroad barges around the New York area. Later she moved to Tampa and relocated ships for a company named Tampa Bay Towing. When she was donated to Pinellas County Artificial Reef Program in 2004, they prepared the tug and sank it in April that year slightly located at its portside. There is a buoy connected to Orange's southern side which makes an excellent point to start your dive. Pelagic species and some active sharks are often present at this site.
