Located at almost two miles northeast of Bakers Haulover Inlet, Miami is an area named Sunny Isles Reef Site. The two famous wrecks in this area are the C-One and the Conception, located only two hundred feet apart. Several hundreds of tons of rubble and boulders have been dropped at this artificial reef to encourage the growth of coral and to attract marine life. Other nearby sights are a 45 foot long steel tug named Lady Carmen, a 80 foot long barge named Timothy Allen Reed and a Russian trawler known as the White Ghost. All located in only seventy feet of often low visibility water, Sunny Isles is great site to make a few dives as there is enough to get you busy.
