The Esso Bonaire III was a 147 feet long steel harbour tanker that sank in 1989. Some rusty erosion can be found when looking at the holes in the top of the wheelhouse and a deteriorating cross brace in the hold. Entering this wreck is not recommended but its open structure invites many wreck divers to do so anyway. It is a favourite for divers as well as fish such as grunts, hogfish, wrasses and sergeant majors. Other highlights which are often talked about are its popular goliath groupers, barracudas and its red algae and halimeda.
