The 174 foot long MV Thozina was built in Hamburg, Germany in 1957 as a cargo freighter for dry goods. She was originally named the MS Lisa Eichmann and owned by her husband mister J. Eichmann. This is one of the ships which couldn't find its destiny as she changed ownership and names many times. Her name changed to Nereus in 1961 and to Cavelier Star in 1987 when she was cruising in the Caribbean. Other names she got were Arawak Star in 1993 and MV Sea Queen in 1998. She was travelling between Haiti and Miami as a ship from Panama under the name MV Thozina until she was caught smuggling drugs into the port of Miami.
