The Pete Tide II is an 180 foot long supply ship that was used for transporting materials to nearby oil rigs near Pensacola. This upright and intact vessel was scuttled in 1993 as an artificial reef by Escambia County at twelve miles southeast of Pensacola Pass. Several species of game and tropical fish inhabit this wreck. Diving here means escaping the crowds and seeing some excellent wildlife.
